What in life is better, than sitting in that bar with the crowd shuffling in - it is a weekend now, and you can sleep in tomorrow. Looking across the table and seeing friends whom youve known all your life. Or perhaps the ones who you only knew for that brief blip that you decided to venture out and they were part of it.
All of a sudden that song comes on. What are the odds of that song coming on now. But you are on your 5th beer, its still early in the night - the stories are flowing out of your mouth like a river and the song... can you believe that song came on now. Its all complete.
First the base, then .. of course. Thats what was missing. Its all together now. I love this song.
Every bad relationship, every bill you owe, every bad mark in school, every time you had lied, or worse been lied to by someone you loved, every time you made that mistake over and over again seem to disappear. That song is playing, these people are here and this warmth overcoming my body is what I would call happiness, if i were to step out of this realm and look in just to observe.
