MAC help

I made a serious misstake and because of it, I had to do a clean install of my computer's operating system. I was able to recover all the important documents, but when I did the reinstallation of OS X.3, it did not install OS 9. My computer came with OS X.1 for which in the installation disc has a OS 9 disc. Can I just put that in and install it?

I suggest turning off the computer, unplugging it and disconnecting the wires, then toss it through a window and show it who is boss! It is the only thing the computer understands.

Did that already, but I had to make up with her as she still has everything that is important to me.

"Classic" is not a part of the OSX installation set in any version, it just runs whatever version of 9 you have on your hard drive. My laptop, which came with X.1 also had an OS 9 Install Disk that had 9.2.2, the latest (and last) they made. Look in your original disks for that.
