Christmas sucked but not as badly as last year. Here's the table:
![]() The best part was working until 11pm Christmas Eve. We have a grand piano at the home and we all took turns playing carols (and yes, some Heart and Soul). We found some spare tinsel and silly hats and wore those and put people to bed (well, I pushed the drugs) whilst singing yet more carols. At our dinner time we had a Bring a Plate. We set the table nicely, cracked crackers and ate each other's home made goodies. A couple of the residents insisted on watching Carols by Candlelight which is complete shite, but provided some fitting background music. The residents and relatives had given us bucketfuls of good biscuits and chocolate. We all got jolly. So. I got a bit of Christmas cheer from a most unexpected source.
