So far, I havent figured it out, I took mine down for post-holiday chick maintenance, and have no way to be other than ze or a goose so far.

when you go to user CP - avatars
can you select "use custum avatar and then upload or set a URL? thats what i did... |

We only see one category under "Avatar categories", and that's "Use Standard Avatar" -- 2 avatars. The goose and the ze.
