Just one more reason that I'm becoming a vegetarian.

Vegetarians don't let carnivores feed cows to other cows.

My grandmother died of the human form of this disease, Kreutzfeld-Jacobs. It is blood born and potentially hereditary so I cannot donate blood or plasma. It was quick as well. She exhibited all the symptoms of Alzheimers but it only took about 4 months to consume her brain tissue and she was gone. This disease is still quite a mystery and we were asked to donate her brain for research so we did. Hopefully they can do something about it before I become afflicted, there is a 25% chance I will manifest it in my golden years (70-80) and it is one of the reasons I am not in a hurry to stop smoking, why bother with keeping the senile years
