What's the strangest thing you've ever done recently?

This was the question my lovely lady asked one of her
many black gbfs last night.

His answer was that he'd been taken home by a guy
who turned out to be a neo nazi! apartment full of pictures,
paraphanalia etc.
eek! said i, what happened?
apparently, after they'd done the dirty, phone numbers
were not exchanged.
although the nazi wanted to!

Being at the DMZ is a pretty crazy experience. You have to sign a wavier that says you recognise you are going into a war zone and that the UN is not responsible in the case of injury or death. You have to dress nicely for the northern propaganda photographers. You are not alowed to point or make jestures towards the northern side, nor are you allowed to talk to any of them. At one point when we drove by the "bridge of no return" (A small 50 meter bridge between north and south that is used for prisoner / spy exchanges) we were told not to open the windows of the bus to take pictures. The US Army guy with me said later that the guards on the northern side had fully automatic machine guns, RPG's and a whole other kit of toys. They were watching us like hawkes. I followed his advice

The whole thing is an excercise in propaganda from both the north and south. It's also one of the strangest places i've been in my life. To top it off there was a gift shop at the end of the tour.

When I get around to it, I'll post pictures

I built a surfboard out of plywood and mounted it on the wall of one of our clinics. Does that qualify as strange?
Around here it pretty much just counts as another day at work...

Considering the size of your country, I don't find that sttrange at all. Now if you lived here and talked your father into driving you across the country to buy a computer case...
