Ok before this thread decomposes to the bottom of the page...
Trisherina is the winner with her very well not quite stated definition: snatch block: What animals lick when they are deficient in... what are you looking at? Everybody else wins a years supply of smarties candies for your fine efforts in this rather under played round. The actual definition (nautical again of course): A block (block: one of those pulley things you see all over sail boats) that can be opened on one side, allowing it to be placed on a line that is already in use. Funkytuba and Brightpearl metemptosised out of playing this round of The Dictionary Game, and as a result have had their back-yard sitting privileges curtailed.
