Cat puke, cat poop, and cat pee
Nice thread huh?
Two days ago, I noticed one of my cats (Knuckles) was puking and had a very bad case of diareah (or however you spell it). I took him to the vet, and they ran blood work, and it was good. They tried for a day and a half to get a stool sample out of him, and the poor thing did not poop. They even tried to extract it from him (shudder). I came home yesterday to find Fred's (my other cat) hind end encrusted in poo. I had to brush it out, and I called the vet to tell her, apparently, Fred had the same problem as Knuckles. Soooo, the vet wanted me to bring in Fred as well to be checked out. I told her to get a stool out of Knuckles (which failed as I have mentioned) and that if it showed anything, that I would be fairly sure that Fred probably have the same problem. Yet, Knuckles failed to relinquish any poo. So, I brought Knuckles home today, $200 dollars later. Fred was pissed off. I guess it is the unfamiliar smells from the vet clinic. There was hissing and growling, and Knuckles was trying to be cool, but Fred freaked him out and he hid in the basement. So, someone was so upset they pissed on my laundry bag. Soaked it. I am guessing it was Fred. I do have a third cat, but she seemed oblivious to everything that is going on. At any rate, I have to give Knuckles two pills a day for the next five days (oh, it is so much fun), and give all three of them de-wormer pills. I should have done it today, but there is so much upset and drama, that I did not want to upset them any further. I love my cats, but sometimes I think having kids would have been easier. No, not really. |
