My mom
Thank you for those who expressed their thoughts and prayers for my mom.
She passed away Saturday night after a long battle with breast cancer. I had the privilege to be there, holding her hand, reading to her, playing music, talking to her, letting her know it was okay to go home... I asked my husband to bring our baby to see her... my mom's only grandchild. I took my mom's hand, so she could stroke the baby's cheek and hand. Ten minutes after the baby left... my mom died. I held her as she went... telling her I loved her and that it was okayto "go home" ... It was such a powerful moment. I will miss my mom so much. She is in peace and is free and is happy to do everything she's ever dreamed of.
