I really wanted to be a comic book artist when I was a kid. Neal Adams was my hero. For a time I had every X-Men from the beginning. That would be worth some serious dough about now. Me sainted mither tossed 'em out when I was in college.

One of my best high school friends worked at a comic book store since we were 13. We started working on a series together; he's draw, I'd develop storylines. He's quite talented.
My father used to wake me up on Saturday mornings by jumping on my bed and turning the tv to the X-Men animated series. At least once during each episode he'd get all red-faced and say something to the tune of, "That Wolverine's such a p****. If this was a comic he'd be slashing everybody up, down, and sideways." What a f***in cool job.... -st. Last edited by Deviate : 01-08-2003 at 06:07 PM. |
