More snake news!
I am such a animal geek. Ain't it grand?
 For about a week now, I noticed Severus' eyes were getting cloudy; this is an indication of getting ready to shed skin. Yesterday, I purchased some astroturf, which my brother (whom had a ball python also, but many moons ago) recommended that I get. The texture is rough enough to help shedding skin, but not so hard as to damage the snake. I came home from work today, & discovered the shed skin! Luckily, the skin appears to be a complete shed; needless to say, I was (& still am) quite happy.  It looks very similar to this:  It must be damn hard work shedding skin. Yay Severus!
