Get a life

So, I came out to my car this morning to find the passenger side mirror broken off and lying on the street behind the car. I guess some juvinile delinquent felt a need to break something to feel tough, or impress friends...

Man, that just pisses me off, like WTF?

The Mazda man told me $180 for a new one.

Like who does that? My baby...

$180? Cr@p! That really sucks, Max. I had my passenger side window busted out one time so that someone could steal my cd player, which didn't even work! I was really p!ssed. But I would have liked to see their face when they tried to install it or sell it only to find out that it didn't even work. Ha.

Pretty sure it's a no... Though the last time I had a party in my old place, one of my neighbours took it upon himself to spray clear coat paint all over my windshield... I moved shortly after that. No problems with the neighbours this time... (except for him having sex with one of my guests.. but i digress)

There is some consolation in that. At least the bugger did not get anything out of it. I guess this might explain why my insurance company raised my rates $150 a year when I told them my new address.

A couple of weeks ago I walked out to my car, only to find that the back winshield had been shot out while it sat in my driveway overnight.

Nice neighborhood, too, but the cop told me that apparently some kids with a pellet gun had driven around all night playing "target practice" on cars, windows, etc.

Never caught them, either, little bastards.

Dorks do that stuff. Most likely kids. My neighborhood is fairly nice, but every year, around spring break time, the little hoodlums have nothing better to do then stay out all night drinking beer, and stealing crap out of or vandalizing cars. It got to the point where I was like, screw it, I will leave my doors unlocked. Well, the little bvstards didn't have to break my windshield to get into the car, but they did not want to shut the door after they rifled through my car. The next morning I woke up and my car's battery was dead.
