Yeah! Okay Team!

I have been hopping around here looking for an introduction thread, and I gave up. Some will label me a geek, others will choose "idiot". Both will be right at times.

Hi.

I'm into fun. So cool! Let's get down on it! Sweet!

Out of school a while, and back in for another while. I'm a school-girl again, at that. (dangit)

Women can definitely be girls, as long as men of a certain generation and level of authority aren't calling them that. But women may always refer to themselves as girls, of course, even if they are seventy. Especially if they are seventy - if they make it that far, they can call themselves anything they want, I says
However, there is a double standard about men calling themselves "boys." A whole other dynamic, where context is key.

Hey! We used to call my great grandma G. G. You aren't my great grandma come back from the other side, are you? (Her name was actually Elsie. )

What are you studying?

Oh, and welcome.

I'm out of my mind.

I am studying hair! I'm very good at it, too. If you like, I'll cut your hair (when I'm licensed..) and charge you one arm and one leg! yay!

Brynn, Marmoset, Melissa, lapietra: thank you for the warm welcome! And also to others I've brushed shoulders with in the pit.
