Although I do think he had a deplorable childhood, one tends to wonder about all the different directions this could've gone in.
He could've taken the shotgun to his father. He could've taken it to his mother for staying w/the father. He could've turned 18 & moved to Europe or South America, leaving no forwarding address. Anyone else care to take a crack at it?
