computer help...hep me, hep me!
So I need to clean off my old computer and set up the new one that I just got (dvd burner..yay!!)
My question is, is there any *easy* way to transfer all of my favorites from the old one over to the new one? Or do I just have to start all over....

Could you try opening "my computer" on your old machine and drag 'favorites' to a disk?

Zennie - I *think* you could just save your "Favorites" folder on a floppy disk and then use it to replace the Favorites folder on the new computer.

Just copy (drag and drop) your favorites folder and put it on a disk. Then copy paste into the new favorites folder. You can also do this with your Fonts and Shortcut folder. It sucks having to redue that stuff manually one by one ;-(

You might even be able to pull of emailing the files in lieu of a flopy drive in the new PC.

When I got my new pc, it came with a couple of programs designed to do just that. One was called "Move My Stuff" and the other "Intellimover". Are you sure you don't have something similar?
