That's an early, rejected artist's mock-up of one of the vehicles used by Martian invaders for the recent movie "War of the Worlds." Standing 50 feet high, It folds down to can-opener size, and can crawl.

isn't that one of those things people use in fences to make sure the metal wires stay up
