1. Christmas-- stress and panic or joy and happiness?
A bit of both, actually. ![]() 2. What are you going to wear? A nice sweater & jeans... aka, what I usually wear to "nice" occasions. 3. What's for dinner? Haven't heard yet. 4. Did question 2 and 3 change the answer to question 1?? Not really, no. 5. Describe or post a picture of your Christmas tree! It's a fake tree, roughly 3-4 feet tall. My niece helped me decorate it the weekend after Thanksgiving, so it's been up for a few weeks now. I added some snowflakes to it yesterday (hooray pre-Christmas sales!!!), so it's near perfect. 6. Name your favorite Christmas movie(s)! "It's A Wonderful Life" & "Ernest Saves Christmas" 7. How long did it take you to write your Christmas cards? Haven't written them yet... oops. 8. Where are you celebrating Christmas this year? Mom's house & maybe a few other places. 9. Any good suggestions for music during Christmas dinner? NIN... what else? Seriously though, Diana Krall in Paris. Or maybe her new Christmas cd, but I haven't heard it yet.10. Did you cover the roof in christmas decorations and lights? No, but I decorated my door w/snowflakes & blue leopardprint.

1. Christmas-- stress and panic or joy and happiness?
Stress. 2. What are you going to wear? My uniform until about midnight on Christmas Eve. Something comfortable on the day. It will be 25C. 3. What's for dinner? Seafood soup, turkey and either salads or vegetable then the usual cake, mince pies and shortbread. 4. Did question 2 and 3 change the answer to question 1?? No. It's always stressful. 5. Describe or post a picture of your Christmas tree! ![]() 6. Name your favorite Christmas movie! Love Actually? I don't know any others. 7. How long did it take you to write your Christmas cards? Half a day. 8. Where are you celebrating Christmas this year? My mother's. God Help Us All. 9. Any good suggestions for music during Christmas dinner? Anything that drowns out her idea of conversation which is inanity combined with the odd cruel dig. 10. Did you cover the roof in christmas decorations and lights? Absolutely not. We might go here but I still think it's just wrong.

Because it's perfect for cuddling up next to the radiator and watching with people you love. 7. How long did it take you to write your Christmas cards? Ten minutes, because I'm not close enough to my family to send them out and only have a few friends recieving gifts from me this year. 8. Where are you celebrating Christmas this year? 1. Christmas-- stress and panic or joy and happiness?
Mostly eustress followed by down time. 2. What are you going to wear? Do I have to choose already? Man. 3. What's for dinner? I am having the local gourmet market deliver my entire Christmas dinner, which I will heat, exhausting every one of my cooking skills. I am also having some local baker/confectioners deliver a couple of fruit cakes, all iced up sweet and ready to eat. This year's theme = slack. 4. Did question 2 and 3 change the answer to question 1?? LOOK I AM NOT PLANNING OUT MY CLOTHES A WEEK AHEAD BUT NO 5. Describe or post a picture of your Christmas tree! This year, his name is Needles. You don't really want me to post a picture. Is this for a kiddie porn ring or something? 6. Name your favorite Christmas movie! Holiday Inn. Look, I'll freeze it so you can see Fred Astaire kick away the chocolate and keep right on dancing! 7. How long did it take you to write your Christmas cards? Well, between the ones I mail, the ones I give to people I like, and the ones I give to people at work, this gets done in several stages over a couple of weeks, usually standing uncomfortably at my kitchen island when I have spare time. Too long. 8. Where are you celebrating Christmas this year? Flat on my tush. 9. Any good suggestions for music during Christmas dinner? Frank is always good for me. You know, the Chairman. 10. Did you cover the roof in christmas decorations and lights? You wanna see my power bill?

1. Joy! I am all joy, all the time and Christmas is no different.
2. The jury is still out, but I have a new cranberry cardigan with a ribbon and sparkly sh*t around the neck, so maybe that and my black paisley slacks. 3. I'll take a vegetarian casserole to each dinner I go to, but I don't know what the entree is... 4. Nope! 5. Small, artificial, pre lit on a little box so it looks taller, but you can't see the box because it has a red tree skirt over it. Lots of decorations. Sometimes a cat is in it. 6. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. 7. I made mine! That took a couple hours. About a half hour to write and address. 8. Half in Cincinnati, half in Columbus. 9. Anything EXCEPT Barbara Streisand singing her awful rendition of Jingle Bells. It makes me want to stab a wall. 10. Not allowed, the @#$%@# Home Owner's Association won't let me. |
