Smile Earth Sandwiches on NPR

I was listening to National Public Radio's 'Weekend Edition' this morning and was delighted to hear a story on the Earth Sandwich Project.

The reporter, Robert Krulwich, focused on the lack of sandwich-making possibilities in the United States and the shattered dreams of those whose mothers told them that if they dug a hole in the backyard they would end up in China, rather than the Indian Ocean. However, he neglected to mention that an Earth Sandwich had been successfully created, which I thought was a rather large part of the story to overlook. But after his report, NPR played Ze's entire Earth Sandwich song . . . I nearly wept with joy.
