I have a dream
...well, maybe more of an idea..
Have you ever heard of the "Assassin" game. Take a random group of people, each person has a mark (who is one of the other people in the group.) You have to "kill" your mark by shooting them with a water pistol (or something similar.) Once you kill your mark, you take theirs and continue on. Last person standing wins. No one knows who has their name. Cause for much paranoia. You can't be assassinated unless you are alone with no other witnesses. I want to organize a massive assassin game here in Ottawa. I want it to be a random sign up of people throughout the city. People would not actually know their targets, or have any idea who was after them. When you sign up, you have to provide your name, a picture, and your address. Maybe also your place of work, however I'm thinking I'd make the workplace and or home off limits. Once there is a kill, both parties would confirm the kill by email and continue along. I'm looking for the reasons why this could go tragically wrong. I'm thinking it would be pretty friggin funny, but I'm sure there is some down side I'm not seeing. Any thoughts?
