Actually, I think Freud referred to dancing as being "a vertical manifestation of a horizontal desire" - and there's definitely a variety of rhythms involved in that "vertical desire" - and we would do well to remember that sometimes the rhythm method itself doesn't work - and when that happens we get more life - so does this axiom "Addiction is the triumph of rhythm over life" still apply when one is addicted to sex?
