as big as saucers

Dad is an opera nut, so our children’s library has a small selection of books about opera (yes, children’s books about opera do exist).  One of their favorites is called “The Great Poochini,” about a dog who sings opera.  At the end when the Great Poochini sings his big solo (“Give Me Your Paw,” a variation of the song from Don Giovanni) Andy will bring in his laptop and actually play the song for Leo.  And Leo truly believes it’s the Great Poochini singing for him.
