Design Ze's Consolation Tee

Since both the chess board and designed shirt tied...and since we can probably do both of them, I started this page to talk about the design of Ze's shirt.
I'll collect pledges till the end of the week here, then I'll send Ze the chess board through his Amazon identity and use whatever money is left over to print the tee at some online t-shirt printer.bobby_mac^{rap at me}

Where should we print it?

When I looked at this my original thought was that this would be a one-of-a-kind shirt designed by the Fabulosos, printed online and sent to Ze. As I look at the sites to print the shirt (someone suggested Zazzle and CafePress) it looks like if you design a shirt it gets 'published' and other people can buy it, with money going to the printing site.

I'd rather see us complete a shirt and design and get it printed through the same company Ze uses to offer shirts for 'the show.' That way if anyone is going to order copies of this shirt, money makes it's way back to Ze somehow.

It's not the same as 'surprising' Ze with a shirt...but it would avoid some other online printer from making money off a product that is essentially the result of Ze's work.bobby_mac^{rap at me}

Home brewed

• It occurred to me that Ze will probably wear the shirt exactly once, on camera, and therefore won't need to wash it. So we probably don't need to worry so much about the quality of the transfer. A cheap shirt plus a nice chess set makes some sense. Sford 20:24, 25 August 2006 (PDT)
