(Camera opens on a bottle of iced tea. The bottle is removed by a man, who is TekPhreak, revealing we are in his refrigerator next to a container of eggs.)

TekPhreak (feigning surprise): Oh, hey! You're watch the show, with Ze Frank.

Ze: I'm not sayin' that I don't like street fairs! I just went to one. You get to walk around on the street. And for some reason, you allow yourself to eat as much crap food as you want. I don't even mind when people bring their normal babies. But those invisible babies freak me out!

(Song)

Invisible baby
Asshole baby
Invisible baby
Why you let it stare at me
Did your baby drink some invisible potion
Or did you apply some invisible lotion
I bet your baby's ugly and that's why it be invisible
I bet your baby's ugly and that's why it be invisible
1, 2, 3, 4
Invisible baby
Asshole baby
Invisible baby
Why you let it stare at me

I think your invisible baby swallowed a water bottle.

Man, the news just keeps on goin'. One of these days, I'd just love to see an article finish with thee end. I guess that's what obituaries are, but they're boring.

The president's pretty pissed off that a report on the National Intelligence Estimate hit the newsstand this weekend.

(headshot of GW Bush)

Questioning the timing of the report, President Bush said yesterday, "Here we are, coming down the home stretch of an election campaign and it's on the front page of your newspapers. Isn't that interesting?"

(Ze face)

Your newspapers?

It was kind of interesting.

About as interesting as the fact that your recent speeches didn't reflect the findings of your intelligence community.

(headshot of GW Bush)

Bush went on to say that he strongly disagreed with the conclusion that it was a mistake to go into Iraq. Saying, "I think it's a mistake for people to believe that going on the offense against people that want to do harm against the American people makes us less safe."

(Ze face)

Okay, I hear you and I appreciate you breakin' it down for me.

I don't necessarily disagree with the notion of going on offense.

A Hail Mary is a form of offense, but you don't use it on every play.

I think your intelligence community's telling you 'you threw one for an interception.'

(headshot of GW Bush)

The president slammed those who had divulged the details, saying "With every unauthorized disclosure of classified information it does harm to our national and homeland security"

(Ze face)

Especially when the classified information says that a policy is doing harm to our national and homeland security.

(National Intelligence Estimate direct excerpt of PDF, title and section "Key Judgements", cutoff)

The president made public three pages of the thirty page NIE. And a spokesperson said that the three pages were ninety to ninety-five percent intact.

(National Intelligence Estimate direct excerpt of PDF, bullet point beginning with "Four underlying factors...")

The document cites four underlying factors that are fueling the spread of the jihadist movement, fear of Western domination and a sense of powerlessness, the Iraq jihad, the slow pace of economic, social and political reforms in Muslim nations and a pervasive anti-US sentiment.

(Ze face)

The question is whether your current offense addresses any of those challenges.

(National Intelligence Estimate direct excerpt of PDF, bullet point beginning with "In short, it describes...")

Bruce Hoffman, a professor of security studies at Georgetown University says, "I guess overall conclusion that you get from it is that we don't have enough bullets given all the enemies we're creating."

This is Ze Frank, thinkin' for me.
