I don't think it's hurting

Considering the show we're talking about, with Ze pretending to be angry - for angry day - as a running commentary on the anger [real or not] of the dweeby dude with the YouTube ghost of a show... I would think the fake anger of the transcriber is simply an added funny layer of commentary, serving to point out the original joke in a subtle way. I think it adds something rather than takes away from the show.
