anti-votes

Why no anti-votes? It seems perfectly reasonable. If people have no opinion about the rest of the intros (for example) but they dislike the douchebag version - why not give them their say without forcing them to commit to some other junky intro? 68.6.101.96 18:20, 8 June 2006 (PDT)

I'm obviously just hard-charging and you don't have to follow my rules (that was probably the only comment I will leave on the issue.) Here's the reason, if you just leave the comment "this section sucks" it doesn't really help anyone... Do you think that by discouraging the peole who are actually trying to come up with content, it will somehow magically appear??? It's different when we vote to decide between different scripts and are more into trimming things down. Negative votes during content generation is just very bad psychology... The only acceptable way to say "you guys all suck" is in my opinion to write a better section. --Gelbi 18:37, 8 June 2006 (PDT)
Because anti-votes contribute nothing. If they don't like a section, so what? We need a section to use instead. We can't have no intro. So you have to pick one. --AaronStJ 18:24, 8 June 2006 (PDT)
Yes that was a much shorter way of saying it :) --Gelbi 18:37, 8 June 2006 (PDT)
Well, I suppose I can see the logic in that argument. But obviously some issues aren't a "choose one" type of thing. Like voting whether or not to keep a line, or change a line. Fresheneesz 23:08, 9 June 2006 (PDT)

Whatup?

Yo-yo, whatup in the house? CeruleanNinja 16:01, 17 June 2006 (PDT)

in charge

you look like the guy in charge this time around (kudos) I fixed the link on the 15 secs because it didn't show the full page and I change the pics on wtf to links cause it was too noisy

NO! I'm not in charge... I tried to find a compromise between separate pages and having them show on the main page, but its really a mess. If anyone does something, I will be very happy! :) So, I guess I'm very happy you did something! --Gelbi 08:44, 18 June 2006 (PDT)

ok welp I have a few suggestions, but not the best at wiki

voting

Gelbi, I'm getting in touch with you and CeruleanNinja to talk about voting. It's about 8:30 AM in NYC (and Orlando, where I reside). That only leaves about 15 hours of voting if we start right now. I don't anticipate Ze giving us any other instructions other than 'give me the script.' The nominations page is great. Do you agree we can just start voting on the under the line of the nominees we want to see? Bobbie mac 05:34, 22 June 2006 (PDT)

Yes maybe... we just turn it into section 3 headings then...

Gelbi's cap deserves a feather, collect them all here

Your moving things around on the chess pages is awesome. You brought the boomwow. -Disso

Well thank you! The main page would be better using tables rather than that spacing etc, and maybe we could use a photo instead of the wiki template thing... Otherwise I'm happy with it!

Non-instant message: I started a page here to have a place where the various conversations that I've seen getting started here and there about how the wiki is developing can come together. - Disso 12:38, 26 June 2006 (PDT)
