Single Page with subsections
A page can be split into subsections by adding headings.
- PRO The content is visible on the front page. More exposure!
- PRO: It's very simple! More people will contribute!
- CON: Ties the content to one page.
- CON: The edit history is diffused, so tracking changes is tedious.
- CON: Discussing individual parts is messy!
Categories
When a category tag is added to a page, all pages of that category can be easily listed.
- PRO: Categories can be easily changed
- PRO: Information can be easily reorganized
- a good example of why this would be important is to let each 15 second segment be it's own page, because if it is not used for this episode, it could be "reused/used" in another show. This way the ideas move about more freely.
- CON: The content is not on the main page and receives far less exposure.
Sub-pages
A subpage is effectively a separate page. The only difference is that its name begins with that of the main page, e.g Fabuloso Friday/The Script.
- PRO: It doesn't pollute the wiki namespace!!
- PRO: I makes sense and you have that nice back-link!
- CON: The names are tediously long and must often be piped!
- CON: Content is not on the main page!
- CON: The page is tied to the mother page, but reusing it only requires moving the page to next week.
Template insertion
The different pages are inserted into the main page!
- PRO: The content is seen on the main page.
- PRO: The edits are tied to one idea and easier to follow.
- PRO: The idea can move about easily.
- CON: Each page must duplicate the headings so that edit links are created on the page they are included.
- CON: It is quite complicated!
- CON: There is this annoying listing of templates when you edit a page!
