frozen laugh
December 6th, 2010

came with this note:
I wasn’t present at the taking of the first picture in 2000. Recently Anjali (the woman in the middle who looks like she’s about to take a bite out of the shortest one) got engaged and had a bunch of friends over to help pseudo plan the wedding. After a while everyone but me started talking about how fun Montessori was (I was not present for Montessori either). They remembered this picture and Anjali mentioned it was her favorite of them together. No one could remember why they were dressed up or what made them laugh so hard.
She mentioned that she probably still had all the dresses and that I was a photographer. I spent the next 20 min making them laugh as I tried to get them to stay in the right spots. Then I took this picture. Everyone thought it was perfect except for the shortest one. She then had me/us retake the picture for the next hour convinced that if someones elbow were just a little bit higher it would make the picture perfect. When the activity was no longer fun but a chore and when the picture wasn’t “perfect” she blamed the photographer.

It’s perfect!
I think the greatest part of the picture is that they all fit in the same dresses 10 years later!
Too much fun!
I agree with Kat about still fitting into the same dresses.
