I have animals (probably more then I need) to and enjoy seeing other people's critters. Keep it up.

I have always wondered why you don't have any kind of ads on your site. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into the site, and it's very high quality stuff. Personally, ads wouldn't bother me a bit - I would like to think that I was supporting you by reading the site.

See, if it were me, I would definitely have ads. For instance, while I go to a great deal of effort to find, write up, & post high quality stuff for scuttlebutt (http://wurp.livejournal.com), the reason I go to that effort is to build an audience that will trust me when I tell them I've built some nifty new service. I think that I earn and deserve that trust, but nonetheless I am whoring out my efforts in hopes that one day I can make a living doing what I love. Like building an online yard sale (http://frimp.net), for instance, where you can browse what your neighbors have for sale and sell the junk from your house when you don't want to pay a per-item fee on EBay.

So, back to the original question - do you have some way to make money for all the effort and love you put into the site? If not, why haven't you put ads on the site? Google ads are subtle, and money is good.
