Really cool (but faked... it's a commercial)

Call me a stick in the mud, but I think the phrase you're looking for is, "lame". Why is it when I see these kinds of things, I wish for the people with the dynamite to either blow some part of themselves up (not fatally, they wouldn't learn anything), or be arrested. Glad it was a commercial.
I think stupid ass covers it even better. Sorry to be such a pill, sportsracers, but killing every fish in a 50 yard radius so I can have me some fun is pure evil. Don't try that one at home kids, or you'll go to jail.

I've seen explosions in water. The first burst of water into the air could well have been real. But a stick of dynamite would not generate a wave like that. A few ripples and that's about it. So yeah, it's faked.

TV ad made for the surf clothing brand Quicksilver from ad agency Saatchi of Denmark and directed by Jonas Arnby as part of QuickSilver's "Original Thinking" campaign. Here's Jonas' page: http://www.jonasarnby.com/ He's done some pretty cool stuff. Check his Coca-Cola vid. The Traffic one is good too.

I hope it *is* fake, but that doesn't make it smarter. Some idiot in Idaho will try it after seeing this.
