they say some dogs can detect when a person has cancer, so I suppose like earthquakes animals sense things humans are unable to detect with their own senses. My guess, they will discover that human beings release some sort of chemical shortly before death. Animals are usually drawn towards things that are dying. Imaginatively, it's still pretty creepy. Maybe in a past life he was an Egyptian cat ;)

This isn't that surprising to me. It certainly is interesting, however!
Right before my mom's diagnosis of breast cancer in 1991, her usually aloof cat began to sleep with her.
After many years of remission, her cat began to exhibit the same behavior in 2003. Mom got the bad news not long after, that the cancer had returned in her bones.
Animals do know.
Where's Dr. Fluffy? I want to get a check-up.

Isn't it obvious? The cat is simply choosing his victims carefully, taking his time to suck the breath right out of them until they are gone.

Obviously, the cat is killing the people.

It's like the feline version of Bubba Hotep.

you can smell it on a person, that is all it is. i can get the vague scent of it myself even...though i am generally not so good on timing, i notice maybe ten minutes in advance...not too helpful. though i am not exactly sure why he would curl up with them, that i find very strange.

Since years now my cat sleeps on my pillow, her breath is like from a rotten trash can. I'm still alive and of best health. Doesn't that trick work with german cats???
