I wonder if this is what they call a modern day miracle? Sure could use more of these. The Bush Administration has been pounding us day after day with scandals, bad news and moves who doesn’t feel numb? This is both figuratively and literally water in the desert. Refreshing! I hope the wells run deep. Thanks, this cheers me up!

Hooray for nature!
It's amazing what a few resources will do to quell the anger... just look at Northern Ireland. Monetary prosperity from the EU in the Republic, and subsequently the North, took the sting right out of the Troubles (aside from the ex-IRA jockeys who are simply out for thuggery and continue to be troublesome).

Even if I'm being glib about it, I hope the promise and the exercise of getting a solution to meeting their basic needs helps the people of Darfur find their way to a bit of peace.
