That kid's going to the school where my boyfriend teaches. There was a big expo on the news. People usually leave RIT thinking they're the biggest hot-shot (or develop the thought process around their second term). But he's one of the lucky little guys going in that way.
Props to him for the unlock!
Unfortunately his method involves cracking open yur phone and soldering things. I don't really want to try that!

Considering who is in possession of the phone now (the founder of Certicell), I daresay it won't be long before these are more common and available.
Happy to hear they work on T-Mobile, even if I never buy a hacked one, eventually they should be available for my provider.
Wish they'd gone T-Mo to begin with, I'd have one, dagnabbit...
