Ze, I like you. But I don't like Philip DeFranco's vlog. As a self-respecting woman, it's really hard for me to see humor when it's overridden by so much sexism. When someone as wonderful as you, who seems to be a compassionate, balanced and rational person, puts something like that on your site, you lend it a credibility--and a wider audience--that in my opinion it doesn't deserve.

Thanks for considering this.

Well.. I was gonna post a comment earlier, but I thought that my opinion might be a little.. too liberal.. or rather, harsh.

To be honest Ze, he seems like he's trying too hard to be like you. I jumped on the Ze-train a little late, but after watching the entire year of "The Show", watching this other guy just doesn't cut it. It may be harsh, but I watched a few episodes of the Philip DeFranco... show?.. and I've come to see, and feel, that he's just trying to rip you off. *Shrugs* I could be wrong. It's just an opinion after all.

I dunno. It's kinda cute. Like a paean to immaturity, or like, how glad we are that we're not in that mindset. . .

I hate to be a "me too" but I do feel that there's a bit too much contrivance and stolen style in his intonation. The comic asides feel completely ripped off as well. It's actually difficult to isolate anything about his entries that make them unique to him...other than the constant sexism and his genetic inheritance. From another perspective perhaps we should just applaud Ze for coming up with an identifiable tone and delivery that people will be trying to live up to for who knows how long.
