Ze--

I know this is belated, and probably in an inaprpropriate place. But I would just like you to know how much your show has meant to me, and this song--this "social network for two"--is so fabulous. Not only because it is funny, not only because it is high quality, and not only because it is intelligent. No, much like your show, it is, after all of these, extremely relevant. That's just it, Ze-- I'm not sure I have ever seen an art project as relevant as your show... and yes, five seconds later after the ellipses, after I've thought about what I've typed, it's very true. I'm being completely genuine.

AllsIknow is that whenever I'm having a conversation about pressing matters--be it about design, politics, or social behavior--I find myself constantly referring to your show. Showing people your show.

And if that is not the greatest guage of relevancy... how often a piece of art surfaces in conversation. If I had to make a scale Ze, you would be the ten, and... I'm not sure what the one would be. Thomas Kinkade paintings? No. He be more like a three.

The Blondie comic strip? I think that'll do.

Thanks for sharing :D

Posted by: Adam at October 11, 2007 1:46 PM

I didn't realise how much I missed your voice, and missed seeing creative content from you in general, until this link today. I really love having a central place to check out links to digital art and funny/interesting online thingies, but I came for you way back when, and it's for you that I stay.

Thanks for the smiles =)

Posted by: helsbells at October 11, 2007 4:27 PM

Can't you start a cult or something I can join? - I need to vicariously belong to something again.

Good song though, I sense a letter for Ray video happening around it.

Who's in?

Posted by: Andrew at October 11, 2007 7:10 PM

That really made me miss theshow :(

Nice song though.

Posted by: Brendan at October 11, 2007 7:11 PM

Gee, I wish I could give you some candy for this tune.

HINT, HINT.

Posted by: Kenny at October 12, 2007 3:05 AM

Boy, do I miss your daily show!

It was probably hell for you to come up every time with something creative and you made no money, but it was awesome.

Posted by: Tyler at October 12, 2007 4:06 AM

Very cool. Reminds me a bit of Momus - Ping Pong.

Posted by: Philipp Lenssen at October 12, 2007 4:49 AM

Shhhh

Hear that?

That's the sound of a day improving.

Posted by: zoomsoon at October 12, 2007 4:50 AM

It's very Flight of the Conchords . . . so funny, so beautiful. Ze, I miss your stuff. I watched ten seconds of Philip DeFranco on YouTube and it made me want to cry. . .

Posted by: Mikey at October 12, 2007 6:21 AM

{Sniff} Well done, Ze. Just like old times.

Posted by: evil homer at October 12, 2007 6:25 AM

You know, Zee, I think it is way past time you restart The Show. Come on, Man! If I say please really nice would ya? please... OH COME ON!

Damn it....

Posted by: Tim Robertson at October 12, 2007 8:21 AM

Every now and then something reminds me how much I miss 'The Show'.

Posted by: Steve Smith at October 12, 2007 8:34 AM

Great!

Here have a ducky. OK, a giant ducky. You've earned it.

O, and I miss The Show. Your Hollywood plans better materialize soon.

Posted by: mare at October 12, 2007 10:11 AM

we should take up a collection so Ze can quit his job and go back to making The Show

Posted by: scott at October 12, 2007 10:22 AM

We've missed you, Ze. Thanks.

Posted by: David Chartier at October 12, 2007 11:33 AM

merci beaucoup, c'est bon c'est bon!

Posted by: ergo at October 12, 2007 12:09 PM

Tee hee hee! Too cute, Ze. Thanks for sharing it with us! Hope you are doing well.

Posted by: danielle at October 12, 2007 12:43 PM

Ze, on the one hand, this song makes me happy. It's charming, and though I know it sounds creepy I hadn't realized just how much I missed your voice.

On the other hand, it makes me sad, because it reminds me that it's been mostly radio silence from you since the end of The Show. Given how ridiculous the world still is, and how little of interest the media has to say, we could really use your take on things again. Or, at the very least, more goofy little songs.

Hope whatever you're doing these days is working out for you, but also hoping that one guy in the sports racer show was right: "Ze will be back in a different form."

Posted by: Jim at October 12, 2007 4:02 PM

nice song. relevant. ends at just the right time. like the synth.

Posted by: Y at October 12, 2007 5:12 PM

Wow.

I really miss you.

Posted by: Z at October 12, 2007 11:38 PM

haha, I missed that, Ze.

In my statics class they blasphesize the LoA, calling it the "line of action"

But like all speed racers, I know that all forces actually move along the "League of Awesomeness".

Posted by: Ted at October 13, 2007 12:37 AM

*applause*

Now I'm going to pretend to have some wine.

Posted by: Boo at October 13, 2007 12:56 AM

Chuckle. Well, I agree with Mom. Love it. The way life has been going lately, it's a little embarassingly topical as well. Hmmmmm. Gorsh.

Posted by: Imagine at October 13, 2007 7:18 AM

Dammit! I miss the full-strength Ze. Please come back Ze. I'll buy a duck this time -- I swear I will!

Posted by: Skrocki at October 13, 2007 7:11 PM

Yay! Ze Frank, you're the best! =)

Posted by: Cherrie at October 13, 2007 8:50 PM

Why does this make people 'miss you' ? What is all the nostalgia blather about, am I missing something ?

Posted by: Zachariah Oombadaweee at October 14, 2007 12:27 PM

Oh Ze... I never knew you cared!
Mwah!
-Steph

Posted by: StephTV at October 14, 2007 2:55 PM

you're such a spaz, zefrank. i miss you. if you ever need a walking tour of...ummm...wherever i end up living...

Posted by: blissee at October 14, 2007 4:46 PM

I happen to be wearing my LoA shirt today! I think what I've missed just as much as the show is the community of sports racers... it's such a pleasure to read all these comments.

Posted by: hunter at October 14, 2007 8:06 PM

I'm sure the video will be out soon.

Posted by: Eric Monse at October 15, 2007 5:22 PM

"Why does this make people 'miss you' ? What is all the nostalgia blather about, am I missing something ?"

We used to get a daily dose of Ze. This reminds us of those halcyon days. We miss them.

Posted by: Jim at October 15, 2007 5:25 PM

Could you post the lyrics of this song ? I'm french, and I don't quite undertand them all.

What I can understand I love it, but I'm far better a writing english than at speaking it.

Posted by: Wood at October 16, 2007 3:37 PM

holy sh*t. ditto what everyone else said. that was so signature ze. so funny to miss you so much when you're right here. thanks for that lovely song.

Posted by: rumigirl at October 17, 2007 9:48 PM

Ze, please post this on MySpace so I can add it to my profile! It's awesome!

Posted by: Alexis at October 18, 2007 12:07 AM
