That makes me giggle like a little boy

Santa, can I have Zero G for Christmas?

Posted by: Johannes Golden at December 6, 2007 11:32 PM

Man, if he sounds this socially awkward talking about his own science experiments, imagine him at parties. But then, he went to space, so we can all kiss his white ass.

holy crap thats cool

Posted by: Zea at December 7, 2007 12:34 AM

Oh my god, that is cool.

Posted by: MsMolly at December 7, 2007 12:44 AM

This is fantastic. Absolutely fascinating. How can this guy be so mellow about how cool this is?

Posted by: Dan at December 7, 2007 1:01 AM

he should have mixed up a spheroid of sugar-free Tang! i liked the precision of language -- great descriptions.

Posted by: Dennis at December 7, 2007 1:11 AM

Hurrah, science nerds! That was awesome.

Posted by: Anita at December 7, 2007 2:48 AM

That is really cool! I'm sure they have so much fun experimenting in space!

You must have seen this old and recently buzzing piece of news about other experiments, if not have a look - no video there, though!

Hehe... bubble wars.

Posted by: Jarod at December 7, 2007 9:44 AM

Oh, MAN, Ze. This was SO. COOL.

"Bubble War." Is that the scientific, astronomical term?

I can't stop smiling.

I think I speak for my fellow geeks when I say "DANG! I wish I could try that!"

Ze rocks. Geeks rock. And dang, I hope to get into space someday, if only for a few minutes.

heterogeneousnucleation. oh my god. that's my new favorite word.

Posted by: stephanie at December 8, 2007 11:52 AM

A smiley face at 2:34??? that's hilarious. How about 'heterogenous nucleation'-?! Serious bubble war lingo...

this is so geeky I can hardly even stand it. It makes me squeal like a little kid. I especially love how he says, "here we inject 100 ccs of air into the water" like he is about to open a christmas present. ha!

Even better than the slow-mo water/fire video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf-aUak-SCE
