"The results were videotaped but are considered so sensitive that even Nasa was only given a censored version."

Daaaamn. The results were video taped? It makes it sounds like they taped the orgasms (or lack thereof).

Ha! Did they really need to spring for the computer simulations? I think somehow that love would find a way. :)

Now that's dirty space news.

Sadly, it's an urban legend. That Guardian article from 2000 was reporting on a book whose author was fooled by a spoof NASA report. Snopes has more.

Maybe the people involved in the mission were so embarrassed the experiment that they decided to work for Snopes and debunk their own bunkings? I mean, it only makes sense...

My god, what ever happened to reporters checking sources, you know, like reporters? Sure, this time its just the disappointment of finding our dirty space news is false, but next time we could bomb Iran.

I should have known it was false though, how could the missionary position be impossible? You don't have to be a jackhammer to reproduce, and you can use your arms and legs. I think you could reduce the force to the point that you could hold each other together. Apparently whoever created this spoof never actually had sex, he just watched a lot of bad porn.
