another addiction

I'm sure many of you have played this...i actually wound up buying it, which i don't recommend unless you want to dream about zapping colored balls. I think the sound effects are what draw me in. God help you...Zuma

Ah Zuma, a wonderful game. I have also purchased it and share your sentiments. If you would like to mix it up, you could try Luxor which is basically a clone except you shoot from the bottom and it is Egypt themed (maybe get that Zuma music out of your head :P)

Zuma and Bookwork are awesome games. You wanna know what makes them even more awesome? Playing with with a Wacom tablet or on a Tablet PC. Pure Joy!!!

I bought this game years ago and have found myself playing it again lately. It's that bad. You should check out Luxor, too. Just as addictive, with Egyptian themes.

Thanks for nothing. I was just getting over my addiction to Bricks-Breaking.

Meanwhile, what's with the enticing little gold coins?

I fell to Text Twist. I could not look at a road sign without making as many words from the letters as possible. And forget sleep. That's just peels and other words. After a time, I learned to stop thinking in words. Turns out it's kind of helpful for Scrabble weird words though.

Webkinz has all of these games in some form or another and with them you get/have to tend to a virtual animal that loves you unconditionally. I forgot my code though. I wonder if they offer palliative care for virtual pets.

Hmmm.... this seems an awful lot like Tumblebugs, the game my mom is addicted to and I always play when I go visit her.

You evil evil evil man. How can I get my essay done now???

Posted by: moira at February 16, 2008 2:35 PM

I only ever got to the have-dreams-about-video-game point once, with Tetris. Oldie but goodie.

Ever played Zenerchi? Don't. (But the music is really nice.)

is it weird i already dream about zapping colored balls? i think this might make it worse. better steer clear of balls for a while. move to a ball free environment. start a ball free life. though, a sex change might be expensive...

I love the concept behind this game. It's a bit like Bust-A-Move but it has its own unique flavor.

Maybe they'll bring this game to the Wii. Not many Casual games work well on the Wii, but this one would be great.

I'm addicted to this game too. I have been for some time. I try hard to forget it, but it always pops up in my mind.

Its ok, but its no Peggle.

Posted by: cuphate at February 18, 2008 2:20 PM

Same thing with Tetris and Luminous. Damn them all.

Posted by: Gordon at February 19, 2008 1:51 AM

God help us all.

Ya, I know what you mean Ze, I love it for the sounds.
Kind of just how I used to love Playboy for the articles.

it's a damm addictive game, and I should know better.
