The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz :: loved it to pieces, one of my favorite reads this year.

JUST finished it myself this weekend, Ze. Felt the same way. It knocked me out from beginning to end. Just so rich and evocative and singular--and frickin' sad but beautiful. Diaz deserves all the praise that's been heaped on this one.
