glad you came out of vaca mode...must have taken forever to make that video..

like what you would cook in a dream.

'I was cooking spaghetti but it wasn't spaghetti, it was pixie sticks...no, it was elastics...anyway the point is Ze Frank was my Political Science Prof, it was so weird...'

That just blew my mind. Stop motion always looks cool, but that was indeed very nifty.
Hope your vacation is nice.

Genius! I love this man's mind! Thanks for jumping out to jump this in.

The guy that made this calls himself PES. You can check out his other videos here:

I especially like his short called "KaBOOM!"

Thank you for sharing that, Ze. It was beautifully done, and a lovely way to start my morning.

Posted by: doriette at July 11, 2008 9:01 AM

That's awesome!

I love PES's work. He's the same guy who does those Coinstar commericals with the coins gathering around from all the cracks and crevasses from around the house and coming together to make a shoe or headphones.

You can find more of his work at http://www.eatpes.com/.

Awesome! When I get home, I'm making my kids watch it to spawn some video ideas for a family-weekend-project. Thanks for sharing, ze -- and PES, thanks for inspiring.

Posted by: ned at July 13, 2008 12:33 PM

somebody should comment on this and it might as well be me, as it is extraordinarily imaginative but totally accessible and really well made, great find

I loved it.

Very creative, and the transitions are seamless, a lot of set up and skill in this one. I do wish the American Flag shown as a napkin at the end was not used. Alas, by little hang up. Cheers
