This is everything you need to know about human nature to succeed at it. Especially the guy in the sombrero and red underpants around 2:05

If you believe, you can achieve... Dance party bliss.

Now I'm really sad I didn't go to Sasquatch. That looks fun.

Dave Barry said it best - "No one cares if you can dance well or not, just get out there and dance."

He is the messiah - follow him, disciples!

It only needs one to start! I love it!
Posted by: elibross at June 3, 2009 11:54 AM

Isn't this how sites like digg and buzzfeed work?
A small amount of the population contributing, the rest watching from afar, sometimes joining in.
Posted by: Eamon Leonard at June 3, 2009 12:01 PM
awesome. The moral is, if you can inspire 3 people to join you, you can inspire the world... oh wait...
Posted by: Matt at June 3, 2009 12:02 PM
Awesome. That is all.
Posted by: Laurie at June 3, 2009 12:07 PM

Great, but who needs dance parties? When the Techno Viking dances, he dances alone! http://tinyurl.com/yrkjge

The best part is that the first few "followers" looked like they were only there to mock the original guy. Then when the rest of their buddies came down to get into the joke, the triggered the avalanche.
Posted by: Brendan at June 3, 2009 2:21 PM
I've always thought people are sheep. As far as I know sheep can't dance, so maybe that doesn't work any longer.
Posted by: Matt at June 3, 2009 2:54 PM
That is super neato and the song is too much fun!
We just had Rockfest. Blah. I need to fly out for Sasquatch next year.
Posted by: Beth at June 3, 2009 4:41 PM

Posted by: wubba at June 3, 2009 5:21 PM
I was watching this thinking, "it will take four to get it started" -- number four and five arrived at the same time, and it was on, lol!
Posted by: Bart at June 3, 2009 5:42 PM
I felt inspired and I wasn't even there.

This video pleases me.
Posted by: AnomalyTheGreat at June 4, 2009 8:59 PM
Interesting that people don't just start dancing in place, but feel the need to walk all the way over to the edge area and dance THERE. It's about going to The Place, not just about dancing.
Posted by: Jesse at June 9, 2009 8:46 AM
I'm in here! the blue shirt that runs in front of the camera! yay. SOOOO much fun. Santigold was incredible.

"A silly dance is always better than a cynical dance." -- The Android Sisters
What can we learn from this video? That people only need to know it's OK. And who tells them? The guy who doesn't care whether it's OK.
