challenge 1 :: shadow letters

i'm facilitating a series of three challenges for samsung mobile which will ultimately result in donations to architecture for humanity and the nature conservancy! the first challenge is live!

click below for details :: would be great if you could help!

Here is an easy guide on how to participate :

1) Sign up for a team - the team you choose will determine which charity will get credit for your participation! (if you want more background you can view the intro video here)

2) To understand the first challenge, watch this video::

3) Use your body (not just your hands) to make a shadow letter, take a picture and upload it here

4) browse the gallery and VOTE on the letters and messages that you think deserve extra credit!

5) you can create a message with shadow letters - at present the messages are restricted to 14 characters and hopefully soon we will be able to make longer ones - but in the meantime let's think of fun challenges that we can do with that limitation... maybe create short poems?

send me your ideas on how we can play with the messages, and try making some awesome crazy letters! special points for cursive :)

Hmmm. This particular project (your delivery?) feels a little 'forced' to me. You usually do such wonderful stuff and your best work/projects feel so genuine and deep from the heart. This one feels a trifle calculated.

Maybe it's just me? Ok... waiting to see what the next two challenges are.

PS- I have absolutely nothing against you going mainstream- I love your Time vids, they are Eef'ing awesome.

This kind of reminds me of the Human Clock, except with less clocks and more sundials.

P.S. Sometimes I look at you Ze and see that your mouth is moving, but wonder if it's really your eyebrows speaking.
