Procrastination is watching videos on the Internet.

Posted by: Phoenix at November 11, 2009 1:18 PM

Beautifully done, I agree! It amazes me that my primary method of procrastination-- surfing the web-- didn't make it on the list.

Posted by: libbey at November 11, 2009 1:26 PM

And Irish accent FTW.

Posted by: Matan at November 11, 2009 1:33 PM

I so relate to this especially when trying to revise.

Posted by: Lucy Mackey at November 11, 2009 2:08 PM

Good. Okay. Brilliant! GREAT.

Thank you! Wonderfully enlightening and poetically pristine! He's the soul brother to your brain crack monologue. Good to see you on your website again. The atmosphere of facebook waters things down so much. I love coming to your site to find gems.

That was *very* good, spot-on, wonderful. Thanks for sharing it!

Posted by: Marianne at November 11, 2009 2:33 PM

Awesome. And ironic. Procrastination is making a cup of tea, checking Twitter and watching a video about Procrastination on ZeFrank's blog.

Posted by: Em at November 11, 2009 3:33 PM

Well, now I know what procrastination is. Because, you know, I don't really know anything about procrastinating. I think I will get back to work now. But first, a cup of tea...

Posted by: Patrick at November 11, 2009 4:05 PM

Whats with the dog?

Posted by: ChrisF at November 11, 2009 4:29 PM

Ah, procrastination. I know it well. It's what I'm doing right now, in fact.

Excellent video.

Posted by: Lhyzz at November 11, 2009 5:37 PM

for someone who procrastinates he sure got a lot done and cup of tea sounds like a good idea, soon as I finish typing this

Posted by: nader at November 11, 2009 7:16 PM

I agree; beautifully done. I love that his tone of voice slowly changes from unhappy to angry to frustrated to inspired and back to sorrowful. This was written and read just as well as it was animated.

procrastination is watching this video.
procrastination is writting a comment about it.

Posted by: kelsolaar at November 12, 2009 12:16 AM

fantastic. i only wish i could grow a mustache since i seem to be able to do everything else with aplomb. am an expert procrastinator.

(the ending is wonderful)

Posted by: ingrid at November 12, 2009 3:22 AM

I enjoyed that, especially the second cup of tea.

I should point out, however that this guy clearly doesn't do half the amount of wanking I do when I'm trying to work at home.

Imaginary computer games with your furniture was the highlight for me.

Posted by: Anonymous Coward at November 12, 2009 8:23 AM

so then, cup of tea...

Nice! Back to work.

Tea anyone?

Posted by: gypsy sister at November 12, 2009 11:07 AM

I can relate to this and it's real clever! On the Golden Eagle (a schooner, sunk some years ago) we heard from Captain Charles, "Don't talk about it, just do it!"

Posted by: xfox at November 12, 2009 5:07 PM

Really enjoyed lookin at the vid made me smile on a dreary day and also reminded me of being me lol sooo cool

Posted by: Sue at November 13, 2009 4:25 AM

Procrastination is watching this video instead of painting something i should be finishing in less than 4 hours :P

Posted by: serialk at November 13, 2009 8:34 AM

Indeed! Procrastination is watching a splendidly rendered short film on procrastination....

Posted by: Mike at November 14, 2009 9:05 AM

Words fail me. How did he DO any of that?

Of course, I comment only because it cuts deep.

Posted by: Tim McGovern at November 14, 2009 5:42 PM

Striking imagery. A great reminder that until you act, nothing gets done. We choose to procrastinate or not to procrastinate.

Posted by: Ryan at November 16, 2009 1:14 PM

Are you kidding me....Ze posted this 6 days ago and there's no comment? That has to be the absolutely most intense presentation I have seen in YEARS (if not ever)! I wept. how 'bout you . how 'bout you. how 'bout you?

Posted by: Howard at November 17, 2009 4:46 AM

procrastination is watching youtube! procrastination is not being able to stop watching youtube...

Posted by: tubejay at November 17, 2009 12:48 PM

Thanks for showing me the mirror. Because that's exactly what I was doing. I like to say I visit zefrank.com for inspiration (which it does) but more or less I visit to procrastinate.

Now that I've been called out, I am motivated! After breakfast

Posted by: Kevin at November 24, 2009 11:16 AM
