That's just lovely, and makes me think of scapula (scapuli? scapulas?? scapulodes???)... I guess due to the translucence and form the water takes.

And Jude, your link makes me feel slightly queasy. Perhaps because I'm already thinking of bones, your example leads me to blood. Which is interesting, because much of Alan Ball's work examines death... or rather, the living's experience of it and how life is affected by losing someone close.

Loss of control has it's own kind of frightening beauty doesn't it?
