incredible. It looks like a post war zone. Such large decadent buildings just left to rot.

I have actually played paintball in the old Packard plant building. It's huge.

I think the last paying tenant in that building, a metal coatings company, just moved out.

I am comparing these pics to the time-lapse vid you posted earlier. In the vid, NYC has an eternal, sentry quality to it... everyone going about their business as the city silently bears witness as time passes; always there, giant mirrors reflecting our activity back at us. Then you look at what a decade or two did to Detroit and you realize that NYC of the now will be all but forgotten. The Chrysler Building will crumble.
