My Mom reading me Watership down while I was in the bath when I was 7. The Hobbit. Secretly reading Interview with a Vampire, because it was forbidden when I was 11. Hamlet and Lord of the Rings in junior high while I hid in the library from the 'normal' kids. The Divine Comedy, Dante. A Bright Red Scream. The Deed of Paksenarrion 4 times, I wanted to be her so much; I still do. Screw the Roses Send me the Thorns. All of Terry Pratchetts Discworld through University, it kept me sane (more or less). When Things Fall Apart. The Silmarillion dry and thick; magical creation myth. Slavecraft. Warhammer 40K books too many to list, blood shed and betrayal and the laughter of thirsting Gods. Telling Lies by Paul Ekman. Right now I dance to The Song of Ice and Fire. Stacks of other books that I pack around with me and can't part with...
