the funny thing is, it wasn't created to be killed -

it was created for all those people who feel they kill threads, a place they can go to feel confident that the thread won't die...

now it just seems everyone wants to the one to kill it... kind of a contest to find who's the loseriest of the losers...

just goes to show you, you never know what you're going to get when you put something up on this board. a thread can go exactly as you planned, or it can do the exact opposite. either way, it's pretty fun to watch.

back to the subject of this thread: I feel that I too have killed more than a few threads. Trying my luck with this one as well. The most recent thread murder: 80's songs that get stuck in you head.
I beleive that may be why I have stopped chimming in my thoughts. This may all be just a reaction to this depressing morning. I think I need to be slapped back into a happy mood.

I like dolphins.

There was a Seal in the water this morning, but unfortunately two of his buddies were on the shore.:(
To bad I could not be were that picture was taken (above) which I believe might be South Africa from a couple years back. I think it was during a surf contest at Jeffery Bay that had to be put on hold while the dolphins played in the surf. Nobody complained though, through the hour + long session that the dolphins decided to show there stuff. What a site that must have been.

I am totaly wrong about where that photo was taken. I did find its origin to be So. Cal after all. Any way, I still get a child-like excitment feeling every time I see a dolphin in the water when I surf. It happens at least once a week. Whats even more special is when the waves are bigger, have good shape, and everyone is having fun because of it - if dolphins are in the water, they are more active. It is really something when the are playing in the waves, jumping out of the water and flying around below us. Sometimes when paddling for a wave and dolphins are in the wave like the picture, I get a little spooked. I have even touched one durring a stroke and that freaked me out. Damn, I should have gone surfing this morning. I would take the day off but work has cut our sick days from 10 to five just last month and I already used 6. Just another reason to look for a new job.

oh it would be just awesome to be around dolphins on a regular basis - only problem is i'm not good in water
