The Starbucks on the Northwest corner of 4th and Vine considered making some changes it its latria to compete with the Starbucks on the Southwest corner of 4th and Vine. Francine, who covers shifts at both stores, accidentally let it slip to Fred who covers shifts at the Starbucks on the Southwest Corner of 4th and Vine and also at the Corporate store at 4th and Main and, interested in advancement, immediately told his regional supervisor. Once Corporate got wind of the changes, it sent a new latria to the Starbuckses owned by Corporate on the Southeast corner of 4th and Vine and the one at 4th and Main and promoted Fred to Senior Night-Shift Barista in Charge of Latte Quality Assurance. This totally horked off the owner of the Starbucks on the Northwest corner of 4th and Vine who fired Francine and decided to switch to Pete's, thus dooming his prospects in the marketplace.
