Frieda 07-21-2010 01:27 PM

zero 07-21-2010 01:46 PM

not at all :)

zero 07-21-2010 05:14 PM

thank you lucille!

and i trust that philomena will forgive me the liberty of addressing her by her starbucks name on occasion.

brightpearl 07-21-2010 05:39 PM

By all means.

And how shall I reply?

zero 07-21-2010 06:27 PM

you'll say "i'd like a hot wet triple grande seven pump nonfat vanilla latte and four donuts."

brightpearl 07-21-2010 07:48 PM

As if.

2% misto, if you please. And if I have more than 3 donuts, I'm worthless for the rest of the day.

brightpearl 07-21-2010 07:49 PM

I want to know Lulu's name.

I like to think it's Golda.

Marcus Bales 07-21-2010 08:55 PM

Lulu's name is Stephen. His halo of permed hair is justly famous, but don't try to talk to him if you sit next to him on a plane. He can't talk without a powerpoint presentation that he's memorized and reads to you as it shows up on the screen.

lukkucairi 07-22-2010 01:46 AM

of course it's Golda.

Steve's the dog.

Marcus Bales 07-22-2010 08:33 AM

Steve's a dog, alright -- why I remember the time when ... no, better not -- despite what Lukku thinks, I'm not Dinzdale!

lukkucairi 07-22-2010 02:07 PM

hot, cold, or nine days old ?

Marcus Bales 07-22-2010 03:53 PM

hot, with butter and orange juice

Brynn 07-26-2010 12:23 PM

Always start with hot - it can go anywhere after that.

Bman 07-26-2010 01:14 PM

Cold, absolute zero to be sure. Where does hot end?

zero 07-28-2010 11:00 AM

what did you see when you closed your eyes ?

MoJoRiSin 07-28-2010 08:19 PM

Back in the day i saw this: a single long stemmed pink rose a couple of stories above my head. :)

Brynn 07-28-2010 10:22 PM

Everything was turned sideways and dipped in hot lava and gold

Marcus Bales 07-28-2010 10:50 PM

more than I saw when I looked out my ear

YsaPur EsChomuw 07-28-2010 10:58 PM

nothing, i can't see when my eyes are closed - i only imagine things

lukkucairi 07-29-2010 12:40 AM

your face

Marcus Bales 07-29-2010 10:36 AM

qotd thurs:

When and where and about whom did you first realize that this sex thing was far more interesting than you'd ever realized?

I'm too happy today to answer that for you.

Bman 07-29-2010 01:12 PM

Lying on the dusty floor of a stage in a theatre, during a rehearsal for a production of Marat/Sade

...makes too much sense now that I think about it.

zero 07-29-2010 01:18 PM

MoJoRiSin 07-30-2010 12:19 AM

That is perhaps the doggone sillyest qotd
Anyone could ever think to ask

( no offence k

Marcus Bales 07-30-2010 12:23 PM

qotd fri: can anyone think of a sillier qotd than that?

Bman 07-30-2010 12:43 PM

Are you going to eat that?

Brynn 07-30-2010 06:47 PM

Why not just make a sock monkey out of it?

Frieda 07-31-2010 06:56 PM

is it january 2010 yet?

Peregrine 08-01-2010 07:35 PM

It will be! Just as soon as I get this DeLorean up to 88mph!

Brynn 08-03-2010 06:30 PM

Now I find myself wondering about Marcus and the story of his sexual awakening.
For me it was up in a pine tree with a fellow sixth-grader named David, who liked James Bond. It was summer and he had just seen "Live and Let Die".

We perched side by side, way high up there where the wind could blow us around, with the dog tied many feet below, and he told me the entire plot.

"Then he kissed a lot of women," he said. "Want me to show you how?"
I nodded, of course, and he gave me the sweetest, shyest, closed-mouth kiss. I think it was his first one too. We kept our lips pressed together for a long time, not knowing what else to do. It was great. Then we climbed down and as we walked the dog home, he held my hand, entwining our fingers.

new qotd:

What was it that you really wanted to say(or should have said), in retrospect, if you could?

Bman 08-03-2010 07:05 PM

jeez, do you want me to spend ALL DAY at the keyboard or what?

no, that was not my qotd answer

lukkucairi 08-03-2010 10:59 PM

I think I've said everything I need to.

Odbe 08-03-2010 11:30 PM

I don't have to put up with this, fvck off right now and I mean it
