new question for tuesday:

what's your favorite outfit?

jeans, t-shirt (both as plain as possible), flat comfy shoes (Chucks, moccasins and such)

mine's sneakers, blue or brown linen pants, a t-shirt with a weird print and bracelets. lots of em. yes. makes me happy :)

I usually wear long dresses.

for me, I prefer something a little more colorful:

but otherwise I worship at the temple of Our Lady of Perpetual Jeans

I would totally wear these.

But not with sandals.

So my favorite as-is outfit is this one:

The stripes on the chairs and the shirt juxtapose the post-industrial ennui of 20th century Western society with the carefree sexual mores depicted in the dots on the carpet. The foreshortened knees of both the man and the nude portrait express the fundamental human desire for inclusion and affordable donuts, while the books lay the hedonism of the intellect firmly in the background. But I am struck most of all by the subject's beret and argyle, flaunting both his French heritage and man's archetypal yearning to be perceived as Scottish.

i feel a certain fundamental irony in this image, as our besocked/besandaled friend poses with "the noid." the characters famous tagline is, of course, "avoid the noid," and our friend seems to be experiencing the onset of the irony as perhaps he realizes that his socks/sandals combo should be equally aversive, and yet somehow he's managed to embrace both.

My feelings: Pure and simple - Cool Britannia! and...

!

PS: I forgot my beloved leather jacket in the last q... was thinking in summer terms yet.

I feel a little bit dizzy after looking at so many socks.



This one, because I'm a member of the Equal Rights for Toes movement, which dictates you have to give your toes enough space and possibilities to freely express their individuality.

This one is not bad either, although it belongs to the fans of a different movement. But it's surprising enough to be likeable.



And finally, this indecisive decision truly reflects the state of my mind at the moment.

I choose this one.

It is impossible to know if this banana toting elder is standing in front of the shop because he is preparing to nourish his foot fetish as soon as he has finished eating his yellow fruit, or if he is simply waiting for his friend Ernie to go play checkers next door and thinking "what on earth is taking him so long I just hate waiting for that idiot he is always so late ".

that's something that happened a couple of years ago when everyone over 4000 posts got admin status in the darkroom subforum. i don't know why we disappeared from the members list. i got back into the list when i got the funkalicious forum to take care of.

Hmmmm...so according to my notes;
What we have here are a bunch of pool peeing, full of poop, PB&J eaters.
When I contact my home world about the invasion...I have little doubt that ya'll be left alone....:cool:
