Right now I'm wearing my black honorificabilitudinitatibus baseball cap and it's making me a better person.

I've just had one of the toughest 2-hour meetings of my entire life so far.

Is it OK if I go to sleep now?

auntie aubrey 04-11-2008 10:51 PM

i had my wound redressed today and the doctor said it looked healthy and admired the ER doctor's stitch job. it looks horrifying, though. it's a wound only a doctor could love. it is seriously gruesome.

i did take a picture though, just to record history. i won't share though, it would scare baby jesus.

lukkucairi 04-11-2008 11:09 PM

am I sick to want to see pictures of this legendary wound?

I'll trade you for a pic of the stitches through my fingernail from last year :)

Jack Flanders 04-12-2008 02:04 AM

I'll see you and offer a pic of my dislocated knee!

Frieda 04-12-2008 06:23 AM

me too, in exchange for images of gruesome swollen mosquito bites

Odbe 04-12-2008 07:55 AM

Um... I have a picture of a pickle, will that do?

When the twins are a little bigger, tell them that you got the scar trying to conceive them. Then look significantly at your husband. Refuse to give a different version of the story until they are sufficiently old and industrious enough to read message boards.

That is effing brilliant.
Kids these days don't have enough of such shenanigans in their lives and that's what's wrong with America.
